The Zhongguan Halar Coated Disc Type Butterfly Valve features a heavy-duty Halar (ECTFE) coating electrostatically applied to the disc substrate. This creates an impenetrable barrier against aggressive chemicals, strong acids, and abrasive slurries.
Designed to bridge the gap between standard polymers and expensive exotic alloys, this valve offers an optimized temperature range of -40°C to 150°C (with short-term thermal shock resistance up to 180°C), making it the ultimate cost-effective, high-durability choice for industrial and municipal fluid systems.
HALAR is a high-performance fluoropolymer evenly applied via a specialized electrostatic spraying process. It forms a dense, uniform protective layer (0.5mm to 1.2mm thickness) directly on the disc.
Extreme Chemical Resistance: Withstands $98\%$ Sulfuric Acid, $37\%$ Hydrochloric Acid, strong alkalis (like $50\%$ $\text{NaOH}$), and volatile organic solvents (Acetone, Xylene). The corrosion rate is kept at an industry-leading low of < 0.01mm/year.
Superior Mechanical Strength: Compared to traditional PTFE or PP coatings, HALAR increases mechanical strength by over 50%. This prevents peeling, cracking, or delamination even under frequent cycling.
Low Permeability & Anti-Sticking: A dense molecular structure prevents media penetration to the metal core. Its low friction coefficient (0.3) reduces media adhesion, extending maintenance intervals.
Precision CNC Machined Substrate: The inner disc core is forged from premium 316L Stainless Steel or Duplex Steel. It undergoes CNC turning to a surface roughness of $\le$ Ra3.2$\mu$m with rounded edges, maximizing coating adhesion and eliminating stress concentration.
Rigid-Flexible Composite Bi-directional Sealing: Paired with premium EPDM or FKM soft seats, the valve forms a robust sealing interface achieving bi-directional zero leakage under pressures up to PN16 (fully compliant with ISO 5208 standards).
Actuator Ready (ISO 5211): Features a standardized square shaft top flange (ISO 5211 F05-F10) for direct, bracketless mounting of pneumatic or electric actuators with a torque output error of $\le$ 5%.
