valve body：Usually made of materials such as cast iron, cast steel, stainless steel, etc., to meet the requirements of different media (water, gas, oil, etc.) and working conditions.

Disc：A disc-shaped structure that controls the flow of medium through rotation. The material needs to be corrosion-resistant (such as stainless steel, rubber lining, fluorine lining, etc.).

valve stem：Connecting the butterfly plate with the turbine transmission device to transmit torque requires high strength and anti torsion performance.

Turbine transmission device (worm gear mechanism)：Convert the rotational motion of the handwheel into a 90°rotary motion of the butterfly plate, providing effortless operation, especially suitable for large-diameter valves.

Sealing structure

Soft seal (rubber, PTFE): zero leakage, suitable for room temperature and low pressure;

Metal seal (stainless steel): resistant to high temperature and high pressure, but slightly inferior in sealing performance

Application

Water treatment: water supply and drainage system, pump station valves.

Energy: Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), Thermal Network.

Chemical industry: Corrosive media (requiring fluorine/rubber lining).

Ship: seawater pipeline system.

Food and medicine: Sanitary grade stainless steel valves.

Maintenance and troubleshooting

Regular lubrication: The turbine box needs to be filled with lubricating grease (such as lithium based grease) to prevent the worm from getting stuck.

Sealing inspection: After the soft seal ages, the valve seat needs to be replaced.

Common faults:

Leakage: Check for worn sealing rings or offset butterfly plates.

Difficulty in operation: rusting of valve stem or lack of oil in turbine mechanism.
