Valve body: usually made of cast iron, stainless steel or carbon steel, with threaded holes reserved for the protruding ears and suitable for bolt fixation.
Valve plate (butterfly plate): disc-shaped design, can rotate 90°to achieve opening and closing, material and medium compatible (such as 304SS, PTFE coating).
Valve stem: single or double axis structure, connected to the valve plate, transmitting operating torque.
Sealing ring: EPDM, NBR or PTFE are commonly used to ensure zero leakage under low to medium pressure conditions.

Lug type Butterfly Valve’Working principle

Open state: The valve plate rotates parallel to the fluid direction, with minimal flow resistance and negligible pressure drop.

Closed state: The valve plate rotates 90 ° perpendicular to the pipeline, and the sealing ring is compressed to achieve bidirectional sealing (supported by some models).

Adjustment function: The flow rate can be precisely controlled by partially rotating the valve plate (linear characteristic butterfly plate needs to be selected)
