There are many types of ball valves, which can be roughly divided into floating ball valves, fixed ball valves, elastic ball valves, V-type ball valves, three-way ball valves, etc.
According to the scope of application, floating ball valves can be divided into ordinary carbon steel series, stainless steel series, low-temperature steel series, anti-sulfur series, etc. Floating ball valve, as the name suggests, its ball is floating. Floating ball valve has good sealing and simple structure. But because the ball floats, if it is impacted by high pressure, the ball may be offset. Therefore, floating ball valve is more suitable for medium and low pressure media.
Fixed ball valve, as the name shows, its ball is fixed, even if pressurized, the ball will not move. Fixed ball valve is usually equipped with floating valve seat. After being pressurized, the valve seat moves and presses the sealing ring on the ball to ensure sealing. It is more suitable for high-pressure media.
Elastic ball valve is a guide ball valve. Its ball is elastic and can adapt to high temperature and high pressure media at the same time.
The ball of V-type ball valve is fixed and equipped with a single-seat sealing valve seat. It has excellent regulating performance and is more suitable for fibrous, small solid particles, slurry and other media.
There are two types of three-way ball valves: T-type and L-type. The T-type has three pipes, and the medium can be divided and merged by switching the pipes. The L-type has two orthogonal pipes, which are used to distribute the medium. The advantage of the three-way ball valve is its long service life.
